Christian Pilgrimage & the Life of Faith
You’re invited to a day of prayer, reflection, and conversation centered on Christian pilgrimage with Rev. Dr. Mark Stamm, joined by Rev. Dr. Celia Halfacre.
Rev. Dr. Stamm is a United Methodist theologian, pastor, and teacher whose work has shaped how many of us understand worship, Christian formation, and the practices that sustain a faithful life. Together, we will explore the deep connection between Christian pilgrimage and Christian living: why believers across generations have felt drawn to holy journeys, what happens to us when we go, and why pilgrimage continues to matter for faithful discipleship today.
The day will begin at 10:00 am with Mid-Morning Prayer, followed by an opening session exploring the connection between the Christian life and Christian pilgrimage. After lunch, there will be intentional time set aside for reflection, leading into an afternoon session focused on sharing and reflecting on our journeys together. We will conclude the day with closing worship.
A day to pause, listen, reflect, and journey together in faith.
